Why NUMU is unique

We believe in giving young people a voice

Whether they are interested in creating music, publishing, or marketing and promoting, numu allows students to develop skills in accordance with their strengths and apply them to a real life situation with a global audience.

We believe in giving students a safe place to work and collaborate within

All members must be part of an educational establishment to join. All content is monitored by approved and CRB checked teaching or NUMU staff before going live to the internet.

We believe in the power of Enterprise learning

Learning through activity based projects encourages decision making, team work and delegation, problem solving and acknowledging financial considerations and other desirable skills employers look for. NUMU allows young people to experience the real-life consequences of their decisions.

We believe in creating a positive, encouraging and supportive environment for young people.

NUMU is about sharing ideas and collaborating within a safe and secure network. It is a positive environment, which encourages individual development. It is very important that all NUMU members operate under our code of conduct. We will not tolerate bad language or offensive comments.

We are constantly improving the NUMU system and we recognise and value member feedback. We keep abreast of new ways of delivering creative learning and keying into personalised learning, and the new technologies that can support these activities.
